Congratulations Dr. Lavan

Ray Lavan, Director of Fine Arts just earned his EDD from Abilene Christian University. 
​We celebrated by recording a piece with him before the Christmas holiday break!

Congratulations Ganders!

Attention Ganders.  New "always on" webstore is live!

A project that has been in the works all summer has gone live and is fully operational. We now have an "always on" webstore (much like any other shop you may buy from online). We will still have the "blitz store" for large orders a few times a year (it's cheaper when you buy in bulk), but you now have the opportunity to get an extra rehearsal shirt or tank at any time. The store also features some cool band gear for anyone to purchase! These items usually take about a week to arrive. A portion of the sales will be returned to the band boosters as a donation from the company.

We started the store with a limited number of items, but as we grow and make more use of it, we will add to the shop. Tell us what you would like to see in the store!

Thank you Ms. Smith

As you all may know Ms. Smith is leaving Texas and returning close  home in Missouri.  She began at Lee HS in the fall of 2017 and served 7 years as assistant band director for the Lee band!

Her impact on all of us will be felt for years to come.

We wish her the very best in her career and life.

We are having a goodbye reception in the band hall Wednesday June 5th from 5pm to 7pm.

Come say hello and goodbye.

Congratulations Lee Band!  UIL Sweepstakes 2023-2024

This fall our marching earned superior ratings at UIL and today our Wind Ensemble earned superior ratings in concert & sightreading to complete the sweepstakes for 23-24!

For the 2nd year in a row, Corrina Levy has earned a chair in the prestigious Texas All-State Band.  That is an incredible achievement.
All 4 of our Area participants did an amazing job. We are so proud.
